The Specials

We've always got at least 5 specials on our menu that change frequently. In winter they're homemade pies, casseroles and stews. In summer we go for lighter fare with salads and wraps. Here's a sample menu of our specials running in June 2025.

Salt N’ Pepa Squid 14.5
10 pineapple cut squid pieces in a crispy salt n’ pepa coating. Served with zesty lime aioli and crispy coated leaves.

Veggie Chop Salad 16.5
Roasted butternut squash, chickpeas, mozzarella, edam, roasted mushrooms, tomatoes, black olives with chopped crispy mixed greens. Lightly tossed in a classic French vinaigrette.

Piri Piri Chicken Wrap 19.5
12” flour tortilla stuffed with shredded naturally slow grown free range Rotisserie chicken, with red onion and tomato salad, Taw valley extra mature cheddar, crispy leaves and reggae reggae mayonnaise. Served with Buddington Farm skinny fries.

Pulled BBQ Pork Grilled Sandwich 18.5
Our riff on Govind Armstrong’s classic grilled cheese sandwich. 36 hour slow roast pork belly rib with Taw Valley extra mature cheddar & red onion chutney between two slices of Sodt original bread. Buttered and grilled. Served with Buddington Farm fries or crispy salad lightly tossed in a classic French vinaigrette.

BBQ Brisket Ciabatta 19.5
Courtney’s well hung beef brisket, slow cooked for 24 hours with a rich and zesty BBQ sauce. Served on a toasted Sodt ciabatta with melted Taw Valley extra mature cheddar. Served with Buddington Farm skinny fries or crispy salad lightly tossed in a classic French vinaigrette.

Roast Pork Ciabatta 19.5
Storrington pork loin slow cooked in a seasoned Coleman’s mustard and onion dry rub. Served on a toasted Sodt ciabatta with homemade sage and onion stuffing, Bramley apple sauce and gravy.
Croque Monsieur 18.5
Inspired by Marcus Waring’s deluxe Croque Monsieur. Courtney’s Prosciutto with grated King Cut French Gruyère & Dijon Mustard in two slices of Sodt Original bread, buttered and griddled. Topped with three cheese béchamel & grilled until bubbling. Served with Buddington Farm fries or crispy salad tossed in a classic French vinaigrette.
