On Draught at The Hollist Arms

From barns, hills, and distant shores – pulled with purpose, poured with pride.

At the Hollist Arms, the beer doesn’t just flow—it belongs. Drawn from local granaries and European legends alike, each pint on tap tells a different story. Some are brewed within walking distance, kissed by South Downs air and Lodsworth spring water. Others arrive from further afield—Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Spain—bringing whispers of city squares, stout cellars, and sun-drenched terraces.

Our taps pour with intention: traditional best bitters, modern IPAs, bright lagers, and orchard-fresh cider. Every one is chosen to match our kitchen’s heart, our village’s pace, and the gentle nod of someone who knows a good pint when they taste one.

So whether you’re here for something sessionable, something serious, or something simply cold and golden—you’ll find it here, on draught.

Langham Best Bitter (4.5% ABV)

A Sussex classic brewed just half a mile away. Deep tawny with caramel malt notes and a gentle fruitiness—a hearty, countryside pint with a polished finish.

Langham Session IPA (3.8% ABV)

Lighter than its counterpart but never skimpy on flavour. Bold citrus aromatics from Citra and Mosaic hops, balanced by a crisp malt backbone—refreshing and sessionable.

Long Man Best Bitter (4.0% ABV)

Earthy and biscuity, this traditional South Downs ale nods to its roots. Balanced and modest in strength, it delivers warm malt with a floral-hop whisper.

Long Man Helles Lager (4.6% ABV)

Bright and clean, embodying Bavarian-style clarity with South Downs ingredients. Soft malt meets delicate floral hops for a crisp, refreshing profile.

Guinness Draught (4.2% ABV)

Iconic Irish stout with a velvety nitrogen cascade, rich roasted barley flavours, and a dry finish—comfort in a glass with undeniable depth.

Cruzcampo (4.4% ABV)

Spanish sun in a pint. Crisp, light-bodied, with subtle fruity hints—ideal for tapas, long conversations, or time-warping you to a Seville afternoon.

Amstel Lager (4.1% ABV)

Classic Dutch lager: smooth, crisp, with a gentle hoppy bitterness. Reliable and refined—a staple that pairs effortlessly with pub fare.

Birra Moretti (4.6% ABV)

Italian golden lager with mild herbal notes, a touch of sweetness, and a pleasantly dry bitterness—delightfully approachable yet refined.

Appleshed Cider (4.8% ABV)

Crisp Herefordshire cider—clean apple notes, balanced dryness, and a faint tannic structure. Orchard authenticity in every sip.
