We’d rather disappoint early than late.
Rotisserie Chicken
Slow-grown free-range chicken from the heart of the Sussex Downs, marinated for 36 hours in our own dry rub of smoked paprika, garlic, onion, thyme, oregano, brown sugar, Coleman’s mustard powder, chilli flakes and black pepper.
Turned slowly on the rotisserie, basted with rosemary-infused rapeseed oil, and cooked until the skin is golden, crisp, and liable to start arguments over who gets the last piece.
Served with Buddington Farm skinny fries and a gently spiced slaw—because some things are improved by complication, and this isn’t one of them.
Simple. Proper. Worth leaving the house for.
Best enjoyed with good company and something cold in your glass.
